Vision
The vision statement of the institution is “Janani Janmabhoomishcha Swargadapi Gariyasi”. The phrase is taken from Valmiki Ramayana: the Sanskrit epic of ancient India. It means mother and mother land is greater than heaven. The institution intends to develop quality education as well as moral values among students so as to make them a responsible citizen of nation.

महाविद्यालय का दृष्टिगोचर वाक्य है ‘जननी-जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी’; यह पद्य्यांश श्री वाल्मिकी द्वारा रचित संस्कृत महाकाव्य रामायण से ली गई है जिसका अर्थ है, जननी (माता) और जन्मभूमि का स्थान स्वर्ग से भी श्रेष्ठ एवं महान है । संस्था का प्रयोजन विद्यार्थियों में गुणवत्ता युक्त शिक्षा एवं नैतिक मूल्यों का विकास कर उन्हें राष्ट्र के जिम्मेदार नागरिक रुप में तैयार करना है।

Code of conduct of Principal
The principal is the academic and administrative head of the institute and work for the growth of institution. The duties/authority/responsibilities of the principal is suitably categorized as administrative, academics, financial and general which are –
1. Principal’s delegation should be as per regulation and norms laid by the affiliating university AISHE, UGC and State Government.
2. The principal should promote industry-institute interaction for better employ-ability of the students.
3. To arrange for performance appraisal of faculty and supporting staff.
4. The principal shall ensure quality assurance for which he should be assist by IQAC co-ordinator.
5. Shall efforts to look after over all welfare of staff and students.
6. To co-ordinate and motivate the faculty administrative authorities and the supporting staff, so that to play their respective roles more effectively.
Code of conduct for Non-Teaching staff
They are responsible for sustaining the highest ethical standard of college and the broader community in which they function. This code serves as a guide to all the members of both the category. As the technical and administration staff is expected to work closely with faculty of the college in day to day activities, the staff should -
1. Develop friendly and co-operative relationship with faculty members and should display the highest possible standards of professional behavior that is required in an educational establishment.
2. It is the responsibility of all employees to ensure the college compliance with the data protection act and shall discharge his/her duties efficiently and diligently and shall conform to the rules and regulations and should follow policies systems and procedures.
3. Feel respect and responsibility for college the property.
4. No staff employed in a college shall absent himself from his/her duties without prior permission.
5. No staff employed in a college shall engage directly or indirectly in any trade or business and shall contest or participate in or canvas for any candidate in any election.
6. Staff should attend their place of work punctually in accordance with their conditions of service.
Code of ethics for Teaching-Staff
In fulfillment of their obligations to the teaching profession, teachers will strive to -
1. Treat colleagues and associates with respect, working with them in a very congenial environment.
2. Teachers should be good counsellors and facilitators. They should help, guide, encourage and assist the students to ensure that the teaching-learning process is effective and successful. Value based education must their motto.
3. Teachers should carry out other academic, co-curricular and organizational activities that may be assigned to them from time to time, should complete the syllabus in time shall ensure for good results in the subjects handled by them and must maintain a course diary for subject offered during semester/year.
4. Faculty members to keep a strict vigil on the students indulging in ragging.
5. It is essential for staff to display id cards within the campus.
6. Contribute to the development of an open and reflective professional culture.
CODE OF ETHICS FOR STUDENTS IN GOVERNMENT COLLEGES
General Rules
The students admitted in Government Colleges of Chhattisgarh should follow the rules/code of college word by word, in the negligence of which he/she will be liable for punishable action.
1. The student should be in the decent dress/outfit. Any kind of indecency or vulgarity will not be tolerated.
2. Each student must be fully concentrate in studies and will have a co-operative attitude towards extra-curricular activities.
3. Student should conduct a decent behavior in the college campus& should never indulge in the act of misbehaving, using abusive language and violence in the campus.
4. Each student must behave with politeness and decency with their teachers/officers.
5. It is the moral/ethical responsibility of students to keep the college campus clean.
6. The consumption of any kind of intoxicants within the campus is strictly and always prohibited.
7. Practices like, spitting all over, writing abusive sentences in the walls of college is strictly prohibited.
8. Student found involved in antisocial and criminal activities will be punishable as per the laid sections.
